How we do it
We aim to be flexible in how people use the centre and what support they need:
- Some people come in for information and signposting to other resources, facilities and activities in the community.
- Some people link in with the support project on an informal basis, i.e. for social contact, use of the café and to join in some of the structured but informal groups and activities. Many of these activities are volunteer or service user led. People can develop their skills and interests and share them with other users.
- A smaller proportion of people have a more formal support plan, which is usually focussed and time-limited to address specific issues.
