Title: Dickensian Christmas Market
Location: Rochester
Description: Day trip for centre members to Rochester’s famous Christmas market. We leave at 9:30am from the centre in a 16 seater minibus, and return from Rochester at 5:30pm. The journey takes around two hours, and there will be a mid-way comfort break.

Cost £10 per person, 14 places available on a first come, first serve basis.

Come and join the fun at our Christmas party on Wednesday 22nd December, 7.00pm – 10.30pm at St Mary’s in the Castle.

£2 entrance fee – tickets on sale now, or pay on the door.

Snacks and a raffle included in the entrance price.

There will be a bar (which you will need extra money for)!

People are welcome to perform one song, singing or playing an instrument.

The Referrals will be performing their usual spectacular Christmas act.

You are invited to come along to find out more about the Centre.  We hope to have displays, music, quizzes and light refreshments as well as an opportunity to offer feedback on the service and offer suggestions on how we can best meet local need in the future.  Drop in at any time during the day.

You may already refer people or would like to consider referring in the future.

You may just be interested in what is available through the Centre and The Community Links Service.

We would also like your help in evaluating the service and looking at future planning to meet local need.

Janet’s Pirate Costume Workshops

to prepare for Hastings Pirate Day.

Workshops are every Thursday in the HRC Art Room starting on July 15th until 5th August.

Make your own pirate costume and be a part of the pirate gathering on 6th August in Hastings Old Town.

Shiver Me Timbers!

Be a part of Hastings Pirate Day and join us trying to break a world record on August 6th.  We will be taking part in the fun along with many others from the local area, as part of Hastings Old Town Carnival Week.

To be counted as an “official” pirate for the record attempt, you will need to dress up.

Title: Daytrip to Bentley Wildfowl & Motor Museum
Location: Bentley, East Sussex
Description: Bentley has a Palladian style mansion and gardens, the largest wildfowl collection in the UK, Glyndebourne wood, an ancient buildings trail, motor museum, miniature railway, tearooms and shop.

Cost is £7 per person including transport, this trip is open to all and you can bring one friend or family member.

Light lunches and refreshments are available at Bentley or packed lunches are available from Joy.

The coach will leave the centre at 10:15am and return at approximately 4:00pm.

Come along to Louise’s “Fimo” classes.  Learn to model with Fimo polymer clay.
