The Money Matters Project In Hastings
A new drop in service at Carisbrooke House will be open from the 27th January 2009 and every following Tuesday and Thursday thereafter. It runs between the hours of 11.00am to 12.00pm.
John Sydes the project worker has over 8 years advice giving experience with specialist knowledge of all the main issues the project covers.
- The drop in service is specifically designed to facilitate a first point of contact with the Money Matters Project adviser. If appropriate a follow on appointment will be made for you at a future date to discuss issues in more detail.
- The Project’s main Goal is a simple one! Financial Empowerment that gives you the tools to control your Financial affairs.
Our aim is to promote a greater awareness of how to earn, spend, save, budget, lend, and deal intelligently with all matters of personal and collective finance.
By doing this it is hoped we can gain a greater control over our Financial wellbeing, being in control of events rather that event being in control of us.
This is just a reminder of some of the issues we can help with.
- Benefit awareness
- Debt problems
- Budgeting
- Awareness of how mental health issues effect ones ability to deal effectively with financial matters.
- Housing Rent or Mortgage arrears
We are very much looking forward to meeting you.
